Federal Student Financial Assistance Check with the Financial Aid Dept at the college you plan to attend for more scholarship and financial aid information.
Selective Service Registration
You can now register with the Selective Service over the Internet by clicking on the "Register On-Line Now" icon at the Selective Service web site: http://www.sss.gov. Then enter the basic information (name, address, social security number, date of birth) and within 30 seconds, you will receive evidence that you have registered.
College Bound Students
It is also a great time to start your volunteer hours. Check with local hospitals, libraries, retirement homes and churches. Remember, colleges are interested in time spent volunteering in one specific area rather than many different ones.

Summer School
Exact dates are not yet available, but summer school usually begins the Monday after school get out (which will be June 12) and continues on for six weeks. It is broken into two three week sessions. the firs session's classes correspond with first semester classes, and the second session's classes correspond with second semester classes. You may take one or two sessions depending on your individual circumstance. Make sure to get your registration card in early, as many classes fill up quickly. Call Ms. crandall in the summer school office at Ext. 283 if you have further questions.
